Whenever I run as server, I can't go to game status. IF I do so, my cpu usage for FM will be 99-100% permanent. I updated to 8.0.1 already. Prior to this, I could not even tick the run as server as it will cause the gameplay super laggy.

Any ideas?

Post your PC specs please.

FM is prehaps the most processor and RAM intensive game you can find, so its no suprise your having trouble doing things if you have an old pc.

Well, I never had any troubles with FM2007 or earlier. And my friend seem to have this problem too.

My specs is not as impressive.
AMD 3500+
1Gig Ram

I off my modem, and ticked run as server, and able to go to the game status screen. I leave the screen as it is, and switched on my modem, it shoot up the cpu usage to 100%.

My mates specs. Core2duo and 2gig ram, having the same game status screen problem as mine. But we have had no troubles running single player.

It's as smooth as it can ever get.

Maybe it's because you've got a modem, they're useally pretty slow.
