Have you tried putting the disk in, I think that starts the Install Wizard. You could do it from there.
E - mail me for further assistance if needs be.
I'm trying to find another way as I type.
Thank you very much for your help Joe. I'm RE-INstalling FM 2007 as it did not have an option that I could see, to UNinstall. Then I'll try the normal UNinstall procedure again and let you know.
Re-installing and then attempting to uninstall it produced the same error messages. Even though during the installing process a message appeared saying "Creating Uninstaller"..... lol.
I'll see if I can get that dxdiag and send it you by email.
The good news is it's finally uninstalled. I just feel like a right donkey for not looking where I ended up looking, sooner.
I right clicked on the FM 2007 icon on the desktop, left-clicked properties, and left-click find target.
And there were two folders there to do with uninstalling. One of them simply produced the same errors again. But the other one was a Java uninstaller :o
So I double clicked that, and then freaked out because..... the BLUE SCREEN appeared!!
But it wasn't the blue screen of death after all thank goodness. Just Windows saying it had to close down because of a problem.
Anyway, I re-started the computer, and tried that Java file inside FM 2007 again, and this time it worked a treat.
Actually Joe, you gave me the idea, because you asked me to do a similar thing but with the disc. Later I thought, hang on, what about looking in the installed program itself for an uninstall option.
