I think its ridiculous that you have to pay 3 or 4 times the value of a player to buy them but when selling your expected to sell them for less than their value?

I really don't get the game. I've stopped playing until a new patch comes out. Interestingly, that is exactly what I did after the beta patch

what the...? I'm selling a lot of players for their market value or more! Just started a game as Man Utd and here are examples (albeit few since I just started and all prices are Euros)

Fletcher, valued at 8.25, transfer listed and offered the same day for 13 million. A little while later I get 3 offers, two of which are for the full 13 million. Sold.

Dong Fangzhou, valued at 2.6, transfer listed and offered the same day for value. A little later he is sold for 2.6 after 4 out of 6 offers are for full amount.

Phil Bardsley, valued at 3.1, transfer listed and offered the same day for value. A little while later he is sold for 3.1 after 2 out of 2 values are for full amount.

Come january I will be doing the same with Saha and Park, with more probably going as well.

Meh the AI has no idea how to conduct transfers, its again a big problem that hasn't even been looked at as far as I can see. Par Example: Theres a player playing for Birmingham in the premiership, hes never played a single first team game(2 years-no significant injuries), his value is 1.5 mil, I enquire about him (I'm a championship team) they say 3.6 mil, I tell them I'll pay 2mil and they tell me to **** off (which is stupid enough without this nexxt part) and the next second hes sold to charlton (who are in the prem) for 1.6 mil. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The AI definitely screws the player over with transfers and it has done in every FM.
SI don't seem to think this is a problem and I guess its part of providing a 'challenge' to me.

Also the i tried to buy Hossam Ghali in 2011, Tottenham say yes remarkably and I'm happy, the next day 25 different teams come in for him ranging from AZ to Luton, of course he ends up at AZ, no one was interested in him until I was, the A.I cheats when it comes to transfers.

When my GOOD players attract attention (far too rarely)from premiership teams the offers I receive are less than 1/3rd of their value, I try and barter and I can never get more than 1/2. These are serious issues that have been in very FM and yet.absolutely **** all has changed........again.

I've had random quite average players(in at best average form and with at worst mediocre stats) go for double their value though, proving the A.I looks at CA/PA first and last and ignores everything else but age. That is beyond retarded but maybe its too complicated to code it any other way, thats not cheating, just stupid. What is cheating is when out of nowhere suddenly all the teams in the world are interested in the player you want who they could of cared less about before. I have a save near the time i offered for Ghali, I'm going to load it and not offer and see if any offers come in, if not well thats definitive proof that something is ****ed up.

Just had a thought regarding the "I make a bid for a player nobody's interested in and he becomes the best thing since sliced bread" thing.

Who's to say the ai clubs don't offer the player to all clubs once they accept your offer? Rationally it's what they should do and so should we!

You don't 'Flog' players for 15mil. 15mil is what you pay for a top striker. Didn't Henry go to Barcelona for 16mil?
