Have they been taken out of the game? I am in my third season and still haven't seen a takeover even rumoured let alone happened.
Is anyone else seeing them? I did think they were far too common in Fm2007 but they seem to have gone totally from my game

In my fourth season and haven't seen one. Not sure if you would get the news if there was one though. Wouldn't mind one myself if I wouldn't lose my job over it, stupid chairman.

I think the problem is with the new inbox and news sections. You wouldnt get a message in your inbox about another team getting taken over and so it would be in the news section which you probably check less so you would miss it.

There was just a takeover in the Finnish First Division I'm currently playing in.

Took quite some time though. Lots of talk about takeover going badly, takeover close, takeover going badly etc etc etc
