quessy 1 ) on the news screen there is an overlay over the main news part, i would like to rid my skin of this effect or change it so i cant see it. So any advice or pointers as to where in the skins file structure this should be placed and its filename.


quessy 2 ) This one is slightly more pressing as in my hide/show filters box, it is just white, and i cant seem to find out what the file names for that would be, im almost sure it will end up going into the graphics/boxes folder, again im at a loss with this.


I know we should all be patient and wait for the fmf extractor, but thats just no fun at all, im sure we can all do it lads n lasses if we just work together on these skinning issues.

cheers m8y, the filter worked a treat, i am however confused as to the news bit, is that a folder called news and inside it just one graphic file called item? or is there more

It's a folder. Just copy whatever you've got in boxes/titled, then blank the images.

thanks for the quick reply m8. i seem to have mis-informed you as to what i was after regarding the news screen, the titled news box was fine, but there is a horrible overlay with faint pictures of newspapers on it, this is what id like to get rid of

That's waht I meant, just copy all the images from boxes/titled into a new folder called news item. Then use photoshop or whatever to clear the images out and reload the skin.

aha! so you did haha, jesus im sooo not with it today like. one more lil question if you can help, i cant seem to find what changes the tick colour on the preferences and the tactics

Have you still got FM07 installed? Have a look in there, I copied them over for my skin.
