I have a lot of background pictures in the following folder:
CDocuments and Settings\Sports eractive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\backgrounds\stadiums

Unfortunately i cant see the background pictures of the stadiums when i have a match there.
What is the problem (for example: the config file)?
Please help me .

Find my thread re my Background pack - there's details of where to put the pack - your positioning looks fine - but the config has to be right - and make sure you "re-load skin on confirm" in the preferences....and tick the Show background pics...

As Beefster says, make sure you untick "use skin cache" and tick "always reload skin on confirm" in prefs. And tick "show backgrounds".

Im not sure but if you are using a skin you may have to put the graphics folder (inc backgrounds) into the skin folder instead.

No you dont need to put anything in skins concerning backgrounds. the folder name is in my documents rather than documanets and settings? Most important thing though is the config file since that was only thing I didnt have and so once this was copied over into stadium directory all was fine. In terms of the game, yes tick the show backgrounds and always relaod skin on confirm but untick the skin cache box!

well i have all these correct(in the preferences)but the config seems to be the problem.I use the default skin.

try changing the word 'backgrounds' in text to 'pictures'.

Thats a typical line from one of my packs.

In your config:
<record from="129654" to="graphics/backgrounds/stadium/129654/background"/>

Is the corresponding picture file actually called 129654? Because it'd need to be for the game to "see" it.
