Dont have time to explain the 'theory' behind it right now, but its worked amazingly for me with both Leeds and Aberdeen. Passing focus is set to mixed right now but changing it to through middle gives a nice bit of variation, although both work equally as well. </BLOCKQUOTE>


I have similar tactic except my central midfield is reversed ( I have two DMF and one CMF) and it's working great with counterattack. I've been on great form, with these tactics you obviously need quick striker and wingers. I might post my tactic later, but 4-3-3 seems to work great now.

I was having a lot of trouble with through balls and my defenders getting skinned. So I lowered tackling to 'normal' on my defensive line and also didn't push up as much (u had to push up pre-patch because of the lack of closing down when the other team was playing defensive). It has helped reduce the number of cheap goals but hasn't stopped them (still get burnt by a speedy striker occasionally).

As my post on the main forum suggests, I've also spent a lot of time watching whole matches and that's helped me a lot make small but effective adjustments.
