I'm in my second season as Arsenal. I won the league, champs league and FA Cup in my first season using the brilliant B1GD tactic but sadly after installing the new patch it no longer worked.
So this is my new tactic which has been working wonders (unbeaten in 17 games and only conceded 4 goals):
It's a 4-5-1 counter attack, basically it relies on the centre forward holding the ball up and playing it through to the centre midfielders and wingers. I've been playing Huntelaar in my CF position and he's done brilliantly, good passing, composure and decisions and when he gets a chance he finishes. For my attacking midfielders I've been using Pandev and Eduardo. I'd suggest using players with pace and finishing for these positions, dribbling is not necessary. The centre midfielder stays back and controls the game, for this I'm using Cesc, nuff said.
My full backs are of normal instruction though they mark the opposition wingers tightly. My central defenders mark their respective zone tightly, this stops opposition AMs having loads of room in the box.
Sorry for being hasty, I'll post screenshots and more info soon.
Trying this with my Sheff Utd team in my fourth season. In the Premiership and built up a good side and nearly won the league last season. This season started well but form began to dip so put your formation in to give it ago as thought it would suit my players.
So far its doing well. First game got beat by Liverpool 2-1 although it was obvious I should have won the game and was down to strikers missing than anything else. Decided to stick with it and next game played Blackburn at home and beat them 8-3!!!!
Next beat Liverpool away 1-0 in CL and then in the league against Portsmouth away beat them 3-0. Looks quite good although abit poor in defence and my keeper when he has kept clean sheats has had to do alot of work.
