On that basis all managers such as Mourinho, Sammy Lee, Peter Taylor, etc should still be in their jobs and evrything still could happen.
I don't understand your logic - one rule for international and another for domestic ?

There is no logic in updating a database,when the game is still starting half a season before.
Such database updates should be offered as an option, but if you start a new game with the patch, it's a fact.

| Okay, I understand your point - and of course the original database can be selected for this if you want.
But really, my desire here is to highlight the need for some thought and coding regarding international management recruitment as it appears to be "ahem" lacking ?

I always found it funny when people craved about the realism of the game whilst at the same time playing with a data update which has many players at the wrong clubs compared to the start of the season.

| I agree, but this just seems SOOO off the mark - and you need a degree of realism for the game to create a believable football world or the game would be meaningless.
The "huge, immersive, believable world" quote has been chugged out in all the high scoring reviews over the past decade, so it is pretty fundamental to the success of the game.

... and we are only talking about adjustments that are weeks or a few months out but can make the rest of the season and beyond more fun.

To re-iterate, I would rather this was fixed by a coding solution rather than the new manager being put in place by a data update in the next patch !!

Don't get me wrong, i have nothing against data updates ( i use them myself ), its the hypocrisy of those who use them yet complain of "Team X's" pitch being 3 yards longer IRl.
" Where's the Realism ?!? " etc
