Hi everyone,

I'm currently in my 2nd season with Valencia.
First season - League runners up, spanish cup runners up, champions league semi-finalists.

Second season - 3 games to go in leagues, top by 3 points, champions leagues semi-finalists, spanish cup quarter-finalists.

I was recently offered the Arsenal job, which i negotiated so that I could move at the end of the season. Arsenal agreed, and so I accepted.

Things is, the premier league finished before the spanish first division.... and so i'm now stuck with a move to Arsenal (which is great) but before i win my first title! (which is obv bad!).

I only have a single file save game, so I cant get back to before i accepted the offer.

I've looked for a way to cancel the deal, but it appears set in stone...

Any ideas? editors etc?

So when you agreed the 'end of season' move...it transpires that it was the end of the Prem League season and not the Spanish yes?

Unfortunatley this is life that the English league ends before the spanish one however i do think that it's silly that you have to move before the end of your season...

I guess it's a lesson learnt.

I'm sure this could be deemed a bug in the game?

Or perhaps as well as having 'Immediate' and 'End of season' in the contract negotiation, there could be a 'Select date' option.

Not really a bug, annoying yes.

Perhaps in future versions rather than a date, perhaps have 2 options, end of current league season or end of 'new' league season.

Worth knowing though all the same, hope it doesnt ruin your enjoyment of your current game though

Agreed.

I'm sure by the start of the new season I'll be over it. Just would have looked good on my 'CV' to have won a La Liga title.

hehe I understand his thoughts perfectly...if for no other than reason than your own profile, but its obviously not affected his in-game credentials at all

So i got on with it and....


It's not even the end of the season!!

I'm actually in charge for Arsenal's final game of the season, away to Aston Villa!

Now surely that is a bug??!!
