Just a curiosity thing. I've downloaded the demo of FM08, but feel like waiting for the real deal.

By looking at these forums, all the talk is about 08, which is to be expected, but what happened to all those 'long term' games out there on 07?

Only just started a new challenge on 07. Downloaded the demo of 08 but just can't start a game that i know is only going to go on for 6 months would rather wait for the full game like you said.

exactly the same here.im still playing my fm07.manage crystal palace and just won a UEFA cup and finished second last season.looking forward to Champions League now. =D

Was playing on my Albion Rovers game yesterday on 07. As you say, you can't get into the demo as you can the full version.

I see myself starting a new 07 game today. 08 is pretty nice, but this game isn't intended to be playing it for only 6 months. That destroys a lot of depth and commitment. A (patched) fm 08 will make me switch I suppose, but that's future talk.

i never touch the demo, i'll wait til it's out. i have a tradition that has lasted for 10 years where i head to the shop on friday morning and go and get it, i haven't looked at screen shots or the skin, i like it to be a surprise...plus i have a good game going on 07 at the moment.

I've got a bunch of 17-19 year olds in my reserves who are looking like the dogs cojones. Can't wait for them to start maturing and playing regularly in my firsts - so I'm stuck with FM2007 for at least another five seasons I think.

Stayed a new game with FC Bayern the day the demo was released and although it's the easiest game ever I'm enjoying it.

Can never get into the demo and this one is no exception although I know the full game will be great.
