Default FM2008 Review

I know the game has been out a little while, but my review was posted on jolt.co.uk yesterday. Just wondering what you lot think.

I realise many may not agree with me, but I think the game is becoming a little too complicated. Not that new features are something to be discouraged of course.

Anyway: http://www.jolt.co.uk/index.php?articleid=10048

First of all, It is a well written piece.

But I like the depth of things you have to do.

What do people think of a "Lite" option in the next game?

Not sure, but i think a second game might be a bit much to handle. They would have to start from scratch. Unless of course they could update one of the really really old versions.

I just mean add a ticky box at the start of the game. "Lite". It turns off the intricate details, locking the player from using them. Obviously because you can't use them, they shouldn't change the quality of your tactics etc.

Spot on with the review, I agree with almost ALL your comments.

Apart from the 'lite' ticky box, do not think that would work.

But yes, the game is becoming too complicated for its own good in my opinion.

"It would be impossible to list all of the additions and changes made for this version without running out of space, but there’s nothing we don’t like."

Like this part.
