Football Manager could give me more abilities to go for personal life. It is poitless in the game to consider and negociate my own salary with the club. Especially when it comes to a rival club offering me an offer. I did play man city with 20k per week and Chelses offer me a 45k per week offer. It would be a deal to consider about in real life. But in thr game, it just pointless as I can't do anything with that.
Secondly, I would like to have a more detailed personal life of the player, as it could make great impact on the player performance. For ex, in real life, Rivaldo carreer has come to an abstract end because of the conflict between him and his wife. It happends alot and I think it could be consider to be included in the game.
Or, like a player who is under a financial crisis, it would be much easier to tempt him with a visually better contact.

Regarding your second point: That kind of thing could hold SI libellous. I'm sure I've seen "has personal problems" in a player's profile, and I reckon that's as far as it can go.

The higher the salary, the harder it is for other teams to come for you while under contract and the harder it is for your own club to sack you while doing badly.

Is that true about it being harder for the club to sack you if you're on a good wage...?
When playing lower league clubs i go for the smallest wage poss as i don't want to be taking money away from them when i need all the pennies i can get.
Although in my new game(s) i do now set out to make sure i'm the highest paid in the club. Even when signing players i make sure they get paid lower than me. After all i am the boss & that's the way it should be.

Prof, if you want a personal life simulator, play the SIMS.
The closest you will get is Premier Manager / FIFA Manager, as they have stupid things like 'buy a house'.
Personally, they are a waste of time and space, and would only cause more problems in the game, and possibly even slow the processing down, which isnt what anyone wants.
The second point, is pretty much covered with 'has personal problems'.
