oh lol bit much for a rubbish team

A rubbish team which happens to be the sole team in Canada that competes at a high level in a professional league. A rubbish team in Canada that has therefore has a match shown on television every week on the national broadcaster. A rubbish team that, being the sole decent football team in the country (they're better than the national team, that's for sure!) basically has the tacit support of more than thirty million people, who happen (surprisingly enough) to like buying the kit and the jerseys of their only MLS team. A rubbish team that, surprisingly enough for a team in its first season, averaged more than twenty thousand spectators per match, with more than fifteen thousand season tickets sold. A rubbish team that, for all intents and purposes, had some of the most rabid fan support in the league.
So yeah, having to pay for near-exclusive access to a large and enthusiastic market costs a bit of money. As far as I'm concerned, this "rubbish team" garbage can hang itself, for it certainly bears little resemblance to reality.
