With Luton Town going into administration yesterday and recieving a ten point dedcution, I was wondering, can your club in FM'08 go into administration??

I know that the likelihood is that you'll get sacked before for not handling the clubs finance's well enough for the board, but just wondered if it's happenned to, or can happen to, someone in FM??

Yes.

It has happened a lot on FM 2008 to me mainly fallen premiership clubs such as Boro after a few seasons in the championship.

My friend managed to get Liverpool in the deep end of the red zone in FM07.

How he did that, while trying to actually manage, and not screw around, is beyond me.

Probably. I've seen it happen to many AI controlled teams, can't see how it would differ for User-controlled ones.

I think that the user would get the sack by the board before this would happen though.

But would be a realistic touch if they didn't get sacked, as the financial problems would be out of their hands really. We can only control what we spend on transfers and wages both limited by the board anyway!!

If it can happen to an Ai controlled team..it can ost certainly happen to you

I'm positive someone posted in here that they got Chelsea into administration (without trying to). :eek: Buddy hadn't played FM before and had bought all his players for so much down and so much a month. :eek: :p
