I am currently managing Shrewsbury Fc and have been for 2 1/2 years, i have gained consecutive promotions from League 2 and i am now in the championship. The media have predicted i will finished 24th which i expected, but i now find my self sitting proudly/comfertably in 9th.
I am losing loads of money because i sold 9000 season tickets and my capacity is 10000, this has resulted in me gettin 40K a month from ticket sale. The board wont expand beacause the feel i dont need to expand the stadium yet and i ament getting any money for players/wages, when will they realise i want to take the club to the next level? I am consering leaving because the gaming pleasure right now i low!
So should i leave or just wait for some dosh?
I would wait until the end of the season, and if you finish in the top 10 or so, see what your average attendacne is. If its close toyour capacity then ask the board again for an expansion. If they say no then I would "test the waters" and see what else is out there for you.
