i dont think you will find a player that is not disliked at all.. but there are the few that most people liked or enjoyed watching. usually the famous ones that had low profiles such as valderrama, batistuta and zola. by the way... batistuta stayed on with the club out of loyalty, and only left them to pursue winning a serie a title as fiorentina where unlikely to win it, considering they couldn't in his 8 seasons and he was ageing. roma where one of the favoured clubs at the time, with totti especially on the top of his game, hence his decision to move there. he then fell out of favour due to age and went on loan to inter, and then to qatar for money reasons. in 1996 his statue was cemented in florence. truly a great player i believe

I'm a Liverpool fan and Giggs is the only Man U player that I dont dislike I have huge respect for his loyalty and professionalism to the game. Don't know what other people think but is Carragher disliked by fans of other clubs? I know Everton dispise him but what about other teams?

Its all a matter of opinion, that will be changed by who you support and what a player does to you side. Also reckon it will be effected by what football era you grew up with. I have fond memories of the likes of Le Tish, and Yeboah but my girl friends younger brother doesn’t really care. He’s like ‘so they score a couple of good goals’.

Saying that I doubt you will find many who hate Zola. I’m a Spurs fan but I love him. Liked Berkamp to despite him being a goner.
