hey...

i just bought a mac.. and have got FM 08.. i had a pc before for 07 and got everything from logos to face packs i want to do the same for 08 on my mac does anyone know where u have to paste it all ??

hey mate I have just started another topic just like this, didn't realise there was another. I am completely baffled because SI seem to have changed the format and layout and now I don't know what to do!

hey harvninho, I found out how from someone else! You HAVE to make sure that 'use skin cache' is not ticked under preference (display and sound).
In terms of adding kits, logos etc. go to sports interactive, football manager, data, db, 800 and then create a folder called 'graphics'. When you've done that, you can start adding your downloaded folders like 'kits' 'facepacks' and 'logos'

OK...

They have made this amazingly simple, yet the powers that be at SI seem to be keeping this info all to themselves.

First, like offleyhornet says, you have to make sure "use skin cache" is unticked.

But offleyhornet says to create a folder called "graphics." I did this, but then got a white screen everytime I launched the game. That's no good, I thought.

So, I ditched the "graphics" folder and just put the files directly in the "data" folder:

Macintosh HD>Applications>FM2008>data

And that's all I did. I don't even have the stuff organized by kits, facepacks, etc. I just download the files and drag the folder into the "data" folder, relaunch the game, and there they are.

I put none of my logo/kit/facepack downloads under my "user" folder. This method may work... I don't know... But I do know the way I just described seems to work extremely well.

As I said, amazingly simple.
