Go to preferences, display and sound, and untick full screen.

Right click your FM shortcut -> add the text

-small_screen -windowed

so that the end of the target box reads as such:

"YOUR FM FOLDER/fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed"

yeh right click fm.exe

Copy and paste this in target field:

"CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed

Apply and run the game.
