Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Whats the best way to manage your fringe players in the 1st team?

Im playin as spurs, got a 1st teeam squad of about 16-20players.

Kind of sticking to a certain starting 11 and subs.

what i want to know is how to you keep the remainding players you dont pick happy and fitness levels high if they dont play?

Do you shove them in the reserves and let them play there?

that leaves only 4 extra players who dont get picked in the match squad. There will be natural rotation (suspension, injury, league Cup) which should keep everyone fit bar maybe your sub keepers. If there fitness drops,(lacking match practice) only then give them a reserve game to give it a boost. 2
0 is a small 1st team squad anyway, mines at least 30 and it's do-able to keep them fit happy and be successful.

I use my first 11 permanently for league games, and my second starting 11 for cup games. Only switch to my first starting 11 in cup games when I reach the semis/finals.

That's for me only though.
