It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I have downloaded your tactics and have had good results.

But I prefer making my own and my next match is a against the best side in the league by a mile.

So I have created a 4-5-1 that I am going to use to draw and mayb get a lucky win.

So if I uploaded it would you take a look and report any mistakes you find.

Thnx in advance,

Doesnt matter I got completely dominated so it obviously was a poor tactic.

LOL I just did the biggest goof-up of all time...my right DC is actually my reserve keeper..I hadn't realised that till we were playing and we are leading by 3 goals after 15 mins.

Lost my final friendly to southampton 3-1 and just lost my first league game against Darlington (away) 1-0.
I have noticed that I hardly create ant chances? Against Darlington I had 2 shots, none on target.

I don't know your players, but go with your gut..just remember if you want to set up a tactic that grinds out a result it should ideally:

a. Have short to mixed passing
b. A slow or normal tempo
c. Selectively choose who will play TTB and make sure they have direct passing if they are good passers
d. For the players upfront, give them more creative freedom to find space.

The players in midfield, the 5 of them should have mentalities all in the normal range. You can position some of them higher up the pitch with the farrow. Their normal mentality should help them track back and support their players </BLOCKQUOTE>

Ye I didnt do a lot of that I will try that again when I use the tactic.

1 Million!? Thats loads for a conference team. How did you get that much rashidi? I've tried arranging friendly leagues with lower class continental clubs but they always reject, then i try arranging with reserve teams, but the profit is so little it's almost useless. Any tips? </BLOCKQUOTE>

I invited barcelona's reserve team and a couple of others , did competitions..I think one of them raised something like 400k. Its a major no-no for LLM football.

I find that odd...if its your first season in charge you need to go for stability and use a tactic that will grind out results like the 4132 tactic before you embark on more adventurous tactics.

Sorry im another one hijacking your thread but I am keen to learn. I'll give the more 'stable' tactic a try for my next game.

all the things I wouldn't do. Teamtalks are something you need to do yourself unless you have an assman with the right attributes. I suggest using RYDemonsEyE. Its the 4132 tactic and should be easier to get your head around.
