It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

FFM Tactics
FFM - pkms of tactics can be found here.

You can set up the projects so that you get emailed whenever there are new tactics as well. The FFM project now has the tweaked tactic as well.

Hmm need to get back to the story of the tactics...all this uploading of tactics is annoying.

After you download it save it to the matches folder in your C:My Documents/FM2008/Matches folder. When you start the game..on the Main Menu page select View Match and then go to the file and choose it.

Anyway if you dont want to upload then dont as im sure we can live of your descriptions.

I keep getting asked, and sometimes its easier for people to pick it up faster by downloading a tactic, seeing the instructions and then giving it a run. It kind of speeds up the learning curve.

My constant tinkering didn't do me any favours, furthermore one other challenge emerged. We didn't have a reserve league, but I had a reserve team that wasn't playing any matches. It was time to start inviting teams over to play friendly league competitions with us. Cheap money. Within 10 games we had 1 million in the bank.
1 Million!? Thats loads for a conference team. How did you get that much rashidi? I've tried arranging friendly leagues with lower class continental clubs but they always reject, then i try arranging with reserve teams, but the profit is so little it's almost useless. Any tips?

Next match vs Aldershot (Away)

We go into this match as favourites, I've just managed to convince a coach to join us his role will be to focus on setpiece training. We've had him for a few games now and the set-pieces do happen to look good.

Morale has been improving well, though despite the fact that we're on a 9 match winning run, the boys don't seem to jumping up and down heralding the new manager..ah well. Looks like it'll take me a bit longer to win them over.

With 4 coaches and a slightly different attack pattern, we're heading off to play Aldershot, a side that just lost their last home game by four goals, they lost a man early in that match and despite having the lions share of possession across the pitch they weren't able to test the keeper as much as they would have liked.

They have a manager who has 14 in motivating and 11 in tactical knowledge and like to play a defensive 442, according to my half-baked scout who isn't really good, can't wait to get a better one. We're going to be playing on a congested pitch, its short and this will mean their quick counterattacking game could work up the pitch in a hurry. My defenders need to be at the top of their game if we are going to play well. It won't take long for the ball to make it to my third. They have a striker with 15 finishing and 15 for pace which is very good for a conference side and he may prove to be a dangerous player.

We won't be making special arrangements for him..time to kick off..my side are tired..its their second match in 3 days
