It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Awesome stuff as usual, nice to see examples of how you would run the club. Also good to see it's one of my hometown teams

I'm currently playing as Histon, finding it very tough. Finished in 16th which wasn't to bad. My GK's are totally rubbish!

Same here unfortunately Farnborough Town went bust last season so I've had to swap in Farnborough FC via the editor.

18th in my first season , will give rashidi's tactic a whirl today.

My team is rubbish as well, just managed to get the kid from w.ham and he's now the best striker in my squad. They need like 5 sitters in front of goal before they score. I've almost wanted to scream..."for $%$^& sake score you^&^&%^^$^$".

The goal with these kind of sides is to create a variety of chances as many different types as possible. So far grinding out results but completely dominating teams. After around 5 matches I may switch to a 4231 for the heck of it.

I played a few games for Histon way way back

Rashidi, if you don't mind me asking, what tempo are you playing with and are you still playing with mixed style of passing? I'm willing to bet you're going to say it depends on the formation/tactic

Hmm you're almost right...its defaulted to quick and normal...but at home I tend to go slow and wide, passing is still set to normal...though I'm thinking of reducing it to short..I'm still getting really good passing and possession stats. The problem is scoring. Its like a walls been put up for me. I just missed 7 clear chances from inside the penalty area. Whoa!. That's a lot. I know I have bad strikers, but this bad?

My passing stats are 80% and possession is 60% thats way too much, its like we don't allow the other team to play football.
