Im trying to design a metalic logo for my boss...now Im sure the topic has been addressed many times here so Im sorry for bringing this up.
Im following the 3D metalic turorial on here and mine looks nothing like it...Im pretty sure my problem is with my metalic Grandiant, maybe someone has created a custom gradiant for the layer styles and would be willing to send it to me. Pretty please?
I messed around with it but I can't figure out what on earth is going on.
Im putting a PNG with a tranparent BG of our Logo...(don't laugh!)
The image Im working with has a Rez of 300.

Ok..Ive been working on this for a few hours now...The part Im having trouble with is the outline of the letters which seems to be crisp in the example image...but in mine (which has quite a high res) looks like poo. Anyway.. Im not done, but I think it could look a heck of alot better...
I don't see how the inner glow helps either...when I put the contor bevel on it hid to much of the outside metal glow part...whatever
Maybe I should just restart..It look me a few tries to get the pill button tutorial but the results were well worth it!
