I have a decent 19 year old left back but he has some really good attacking stats like crossing 17, passing 17, pace 16 and finishing 14.

I think he would make a decent left midfielder (a position i am lacking in players) However I can't seem to find the button to train them for another position, does one still exist? i know you could do it in the past.

I'm probably just being blind, but for all my searching i can't seem to find it.

Any help is much appreciated

Go to training, than "players".

On the top right, select position training option. Then choose the player you want and add the new position from the column on the right hand side. The initial rating of the player at that position (unconvincing, competent, etc.) should appear - you are done.
