I'm currently playing as Notts Forest and I'm not doing to badly - got promoted in first year and finished 16th in my first year in the Championship.
I'm now in my second year in the Championship and am currently 3rd in the table at the start of the January window - so promotion or at least a play-off spot is a genuine reality!
However, I've spent most of my money during the summer window, so want to add a few players to strengthen the squad through loan signings, however, no-one seems to want to come. even the youngsters at West Ham - my parent club - have turned down the offer of a bit of first team football.
Surely IRL a move to a top 3 Championship team would be a great opportunity for any budding Premiership youngster - ala Nikolas Bendtner etc..
Anyone got any suggestions of how i can persuade them to come?
maybe you can praise them? or i guess its cos even when you are promoted, your club's reputation still have not went up and young players thus still do not want to come to your club on loan
Yeah but on a realistic note, Notts Forest have a very good reputation in English football - as one of the major 'sleeping giants'!
I just can't understand why a team like Norwich or Cardiff can attract these players when they are both languishing in the bottom 6 and have been quite shiiite for a number of years now!
