Ok I have decided to have a go at Villareal. The board have given me 6.5 million but I feel selling riquelme might put more cash on the table. My thinking is simple, I have 2 players that are decent in that area of the field one being Matias fernandez and Rossi. Just want the opinion of anyone that has had him. Ok technically riquelme is top but is he as inconsistent as in real life.

Firstly, he's not actually inconsistent in real life. Secondly...as far as the game goes I can't see you'll get more than 7-8m for him so I'm not sure it's worth it. However, the other two are absolutely immense given time so you have nothing to worry about if you can get a better deal than that.

Riquelme is one of my all time fave players i have seen riquelme and tevez mature into world class players while watching them with boca and corinthians

i signed riqueleme everytime i play hes a goal machine and alot better than the 2 lads u mentioned you wont get alot of money for him if i remember hes been put on transfer list for 3million

with man united chelsea arsenal spurs and a few other big teams are watching him for argentina

If what you say is true I will stick it out with him. Technically he's perfect on but looks a lazy bugger. It would be great to try and get matias and riquelme working together in my side.

Riquelme's the sort of player "free role" was invented for. Stick him in the hole and give him next to no defending to do. Make him playmaker and let him do his stuff.

In my game Villareal play with with Fernandez/Requelme/Bellushi as AMCs and they are dynamite.

So I'd keep him, you wouldn't get a good enough replacement for the amount of money you will receive.

Currently I have him alongside matias and he's pretty good there.
