Hi. I'm in charge of a top league side n I need a good DC who is at most £16m. I've got Breno already. I'm actually onto Felipe(Udinese) - £5.75m but I have some reservations about him 'cos of his concentration. Per Mertesacker - £16m, is also on my radar. Need some opinions about them and also some solid suggestions.
thks for the reply! I agree with the Vidal part. That guy has pretty neat stats. But my 20-20 scout doesnt think he's up to it for some reasons. Who are your CBs at the moment??
Dont think, just go for Felipe. I've got him in my side and he's not put a foot wrong. Very reliable, very good. His concentration doesnt really hinder him at all. Also, while he's at Udinese, he's not fully developed. But he will be as soon as you get him to a top club and give him the right training with the right coaches. I dont know why people hardly go for him because at 5.5M, he's a bloody bargain.
Besides him, look at Zapata, Djourou and Garay. Samba is a bargain if you're just starting the game. Costs less than 1M and he's great. Barzagli is always there. He'll cost around 12M in the first season but theres a lot of interest in him.

I'm in the 2nd season so Samba at 1m is a far off dream. Barzagli is at AC Milan in my game. They gt him for only 12m.. He's definitely my type of DC. But I aint got enough money in the 1st season.. I thinking FMM right nw.. but I aint gonna go tat way!
If it's between Garay and Zapata, who will you choose?
Garay doesnt look as solid a DC as Zapata man.. Other than some high stats for his set pieces, i think he's pretty normal tho. Comments from anyone who feel otherwise?
Well he is one of the best defenders on the game. Many people dont realise/know that he's got a PA of 185. I think the only CB's better than that are Terry and Barzagli. Cant go wrong with him especially for that price. :thup:

Who are you refering to? Garay is 175 and Zapata is 180 aint it?
