Im sheff utd in the 2nd season and got promtion to the premiership. i have £13.5 million to spend and need 1 or 2 defensive midfielders and 1 or 2 centre backs

Flamini - may be transfer listed and can be bought for £1m
Leon Andreasen - I got for £1.4m, was transfer listed too
Alessandro Grandoni - Free. I bought him as backup but he's done well
Cor Gillis - £90k. Stats keep on increasing, he's my first choice DC
Brian McLean - cheap option but a good defender, will increase a bit too and has some versatility

Maybe look at loaning young players like Alexandre Song, Denilson, Jonathan Evans, Craig Cathcart, Matthew Connolly etc etc

Check who's transfer listed for a bargain, and keep your eyes on the freebies :thup:

Get Flamini like said above. He's very good and has a habit of popping up with a few goals every now and again when needed. You might also look at Nordtveit again from Arsenal. He's a CB but can play DM just as well. Shouldnt be expensive. See if you can somehow lure Baptista to you. He's a backup at Madrid and will be available for sure. Just dont know if he'll be interested. He'll give you cover in a lot of places. Oh, and for a season or two, get Makelele. He'll be rotting away in the Chelsea reserves and I think would be happy to move as long as you give him first team football. Look in the reserves of all the teams in EPL and you should find yourself plenty players who you can get cheap or can loan.
