I said I'd win the league and got 26m for my troubles.

Bought VDV, Ignashevic and Modric and was 2nd at the end of the demo with VDV and Martins top scorers in the league.

Hi, did you use any runs with your midfield players? (tactical lines)

Cheers

Ah yes thanks ToMexico...

How much does he cost! Thought he'd be way too much for Toon to afford?

Anyone know how much you can get him for in FM2008?

well as you know newcastle only start with 6 to 10 million is it depending on final position, try selling the likes of Duff, Butt, Ameobi and even either Owen or Martins, which ever you prefer. VDV should cost you around 15+ million but if you could strike a deal for less but with clauses that would be a deal well done..

Out of Owen and Martins i think i'd rather keep Martins. How about everyone else?

Agree Duff, Butt and Ameobi will sell too!

I've just finished my first season on FM08 and thought I'd let you know:

Owen played 36 scored 28 and is now worth £20,500,000. He won European golden boot.

Hint: Don't sell him!

EDIT

I'm going to add to what I've said. Sign Henri Saivet when you begin, and have Owen tutor him. Turns out belta.

His 'team-mate comparison' switches between Michael Owen and Oba Martins.

Whether that's a good thing, or a bug, I'm not sure.
