In WSM 07 I have been playing with the red bulls, after two championships i have decided not to renew my contract. I have finally found the resign button and am sitting without a job. I chose only to sim the MLS, so does that make me finding a new job limited to the MLS?

Also I started a game in 7.00 and just recently updated to the latest patch, will that game be running in 7.00 or the patched verison.

Yes you will be limited to teams from the MLS only.

Your save game will run on the new patch (bug fixes etc) but any 'data' changes (ie to a players ca/pa) will only take effect upon a new game.
