Hi Sorry to sound like an 1diot but how does the patch affect my saved game?

PLease can someone clear this for me!!!

I'll reply before you get flamed to death even though this has been mentioned a million times already...

Any bug fixes will take effect in your save game.

Any data updates (and there are some) will need a new game to take effect
