Installed 8.0.1 patch and started new game with Rangers. Pre-season tour to Switzerland is already added so played first two games losing 2-1 and drawing 1-1. Third friendly game, against Thun.

63 shots in 90 minutes. Never seen anything close to this before in any incarnation of the game. I had no players sent off, played 4-4-2 normal tactics. First time I have also seen players getting a 1 rating. I had 3 '1' ratings and 3 '2' ratings. Even more weird in that Thun only had 51% of possession.

I hope this isn't the shape of things to come

Right... I'm a bit skeptical of this one. Looks as if you stuck some outfield player in goal and deliberately messed up your formation.

I'm also skeptical on this one.
Last time i lost this big was when i played with my -19 squad a friendly against Milan in FM07.
My season started 3 days later but no way i could decline the friendly Milan proposed against my newly promoted 2nd division team.
TV sended it out and a top income was the result, but i did loose badly with 1-14.

Playing all day with the new patch as national manager and watching games regular and playing 3 games myself, i found that there are less shots then pre patch.
Last night i quickly played my save from first day with a minor league team after i got the new patch, and also there after 3 games i had less shots then pre patch in games.
If you really have this issue, i would suggest reinstall game and patch.
I think SI had trouble themselfs over the Mac patch yesterday and later they found out the Mac version was not installed correct, maybe you have it also.
