I'm willing to bet that no professional game has had so many shots in it and I am very much including the dark days of football where teams of amateurs who'd barely played football were pitched against legends (England vs Scotland 1930's). Even if all his players had stats of 1 for everything and the opposition had 20 for everything this would be ludicrous.

but this isnt a pub team i imagine your pub team are well otu of shape. this is a professional squad whose players are in top shape against a team that is feeling quite tired if your tired do you have the will to run? NO and you can clearly see that in the match all his defenders were getting paced out of the game but those strikers they never made it to one through ball before the striker giving the striker many one on one chances and why? because they were tired their fitness status probably said tired before he played the match and nothing like lacks match practice.

Sorry, but trying to justify 60 shots in one game really is madness, its impossible.

Even based on the ball in play for 90 minutes thats a shot every 90 seconds, with only 50% posession.

im not saying 60 shots is acceptable but you can clearly see why it happened there were no over uses of long shots they just had way too many chances on his goal either way.

Rangers would not be walked over like that, simple as that.

A professional team would not allow a team like Thun to have 60+ shots in any circumstance, even if they hadnt trained for a month.

Sometimes you have to just accept the game has done something daft, this is one of them.

Were you playing some really silly tactic or something ? Assuming that you were playing something normal this is quite a worrying result. Under no normal circumstance is this at all realistic.

None of the players were marked as tired. As this was just the 3rd friendly of the season it was the first game for some, and 2nd for others.
