Really am ****ed off. A little while ago I got an error that crashed the game meaning I had to go back and replay five matches. Fair enough, little annoyed, but it happens. 6 months later, just about to kick-off my play-off final, decided to save the game before hand, and AGAIN I get the error. Thought ah well, just have to replay the one Semi-Final game, but no. No the saved game won't even load anymore. So thats what, 20 hours gone ? 20 hours ****ing wasted cause Sigames spend more time adding bugs to annoy pirates then to sort out the ones that are already in the game in the first place. Utter joke. Does this mean my saved games beyond repair ?

Rolling autosave prevents this sort of tragedy.

And before you blame SI for this, try looking closer to home and check your pc for problems. No game is as processor and memory intensive as FM, and if your pc has a problem FM will find it out. That was what brought me to these forums in the first place.

You should always keep a backup of your save games, so in future if while saving your computer crashes you don’t loose your entire save game..

We cant do anything with such a vague error, we need the exact error message.

My 2nd PC is well above the spec too. Shame its hard disk is on the way out and it has write errors and a database based game like FM would die pretty quick.

The point being it could still be your PC even if you think its fine.

If I were you Id do as suggested and do regular rolling backups just in case.

Specs aren't everything. The game can run on lower spec machines if they are working well, as I have found; but background applications and out of date drivers, as well as viruses etc, and anything overworking the CPU can cause the game to not work on computers that, on paper, are easily capable.

ps. Getting gobby won't do you any favours, mate.
