I just want to say thank you for releasing a great game and a patch that has unlocked the true potential of this game.

You are one of the only companies I have ever seen who instead of trying to rush out a patch and not fixing anything, or going the other way and never releasing a patch. You released a beta patch which fixed a few of the issues that made it unplayable and then kept the community informed about the progress of the main patch while it was being made and for this I would like to say thank you.

Mackem.

I agree. The patch is fantastic except for the ridiculous number of shots.

thekopistop, yes they did try and get this game out quickly and missed some bugs, however I believe that this is mainly in order to get the game out before championship manager 2008, and as it happens, they have the game out and the game fixed before championship manager 2008 is out!

but why? they know that the loyal fans of FM will wait for it rather than buy CM.

instead they brought out an unplayable game which im sure was taken back by alot of people.

It wasn't unplayable though. I bought it 2 days after release and had a great Bristol City game going until today when I got the full patch. Yes the closing down bug was annoying and made it hard but it wasn't impossible to find a tactic that worked and many of the other bugs were just minor annoyances.

i found tactics that worked as well. the fact that they worked too well made the game unplayable. i took advantage of certain 'bugs' to take leeds up in first season by 12points clear in my first game.

i also found that in the prem with Liverpool ( good side anyway i know) by simply using counter attackin on and every midfielder with attackin runs i scored at least 2 goals in every away match losin 1.

i would go on but im borin myself.

if i wanted a game i could just pick a tactic and lineup for every single match and win nearly every match i would play Premier Manager.
