Finally started a game with leeds, been waiting soooo long!
Now I tried to sign a rated Tottenham player for 0 & 40%, they said yep, he said no!
So i tried another same situtaion, then another.
I then tried 25 of the best talent at the top 4 clubs, they nearly all said yes for 0 or for 0 & 25%.
that seems a little strange, now i'll get refussed by the players, but within 1 year with me winning my league and praising a few, i imagine i will get some yes's.
Is this a problem, a yes/no from a Si person please
This is consructive crititism, ive been playing this game for over 12 years so i dont need Pro fans adding to this post saying but its an amazing game

What strikes me as the most strange about this is that they accept the bids. The players I understand why say no. You might be able to lure some away at a later stage if your really successful but young players seem to be fairly loyal to their clubs as should be.

Which player was it that you wanted to sign for Leeds?
As i tried to sign Jozy Altidore from NY Red Bulls and the club said Yes for £750k and but he was asking for quite alot in terms of pay about £25k P/W with Appearance and Goal bonuses of a total of around £20k (thats with one goal per match). Considering the fact that hes only 16 or 17 Years Old.
I got rid of the bonuses and lowered his pay to £16k. He rejected it which i was quite suprised with as he would be my best paid youth. And it was more than what he was being paid at NY. Increased the PP/W to £20k. He rejected again. Kept it at £20k but added a £4.5k goal bonus and he finally accepted it.
That was on a hot prospect contract.
I think its all about negotiations and the determination of the player. Since signing him for Chelsea i'd kept him in the my struggling reserves team (Bottom of the reserves table) for a couple of months so he would settle before bringing him to First Squad status and he started to bang in goals. And i believe thats because hes determined to succeed and his fairly high Goal Bonus.
Thats my experience recently of being rejected. So i think its the club and what the players (and their manager) think of you when trying to sign them.
