Default A few points on the patch from a Happy Hammer...

Firstly I have only just started a new game as the Hammers with the patch so hopefully get the full benefit.

Thanks SI for the following :

Giving the Hammers a bigger and therefore more realistic Transfer Budget.

Giving the likes of Mark Noble, Dean Ashton and Danny Gabbidon more realistic stats. Ashton's pace is better and hopefully Noble will be half decent with the patch. He was awful before.

However can you tell me what researcher thinks a. Matthew Upson is quick and b. that Richard Wright is a better goalkeeper than Rob Green???!!!

However, some queries..

Why have a majority of coaches stats been really toned down with the patch? It is very difficult to get any half decent coaches in now. I put in a search for a coach with 20 for Tactics and got back none at all. I'm on the large database, any reason why?

Also I thought I would see if Martin Jol or Sammy Lee fancied a job. Nowhere to be seen!!! Ok they are out of work but should they not be in the Unemployed section rather than disappear altogether?

Also a question about database size. My PC is not all singing and dancing so do the advantages of the large database outweigh the advantage of faster gameplay if you choose an smaller database? Opinions would be appreciated.
