woohoo i annonuced today official FM day play to your hearts content. the game just feels beautiful i could already feel the changes especially with the closing down works wonders now. match engine feels better there were moments when i was thinking thats offside or ruled out and it didnt happen now it is time to start a real manager campaign just no idea how yet but thanks SI

It makes it very different to appraise players..

Isn't the rating influenced by completed passings (by midfielders), tacklings (by defenders) and so on like in e.g. CM3 (01/02). It seems that in FM 08 only the assists and goals are crucial...

of course it's influenced by all that... but it's also relative to the quality of the player. A £200k player and a £6million might both get a 7 rating in a game, but their performances aren't going to be of the same level... you need to look in more detail (stats etc) to get the info you need.

Why aren't in FM08 more 6s, 8s and 9s like in the older versions.. Nearly all my players have in nearyl all matches a 7.. (beta patch.. but I think there's the same in the official patch)
