Ok, Im downloading it right now, I think its the right one. What do I do after my download is complete?

When you finish dl'ing double click on the file and instructions will pop up.

Ok, i downlaoded it now all i have is the winrar window with 4 icons in it one is the folder the next is GH3D.txt, the one after that is gamershell.url and then the last one is FM2008_v8.0.1 and at the top it has the options of extract, delete, test, view, etc,etc. this is what i had after my face pack. what do i do from here because i know i wasnt done at this screen when i did my facepack. So do I have to do more or am I done?

Just extract the contents to anywhere on your pc then double click the FM2008_v8.0.1.exe file..then follow instructions

God, i hate this stuff why cant it be simple.

I double clicked it and it did all the stuff by itself and then it said error cant find patch folder and has the option of browse. what do i do or am i doing the wrong thing?

OK, find the .rar file (don't double click on it yet). Right-click once, and a menu will open up, then select "Extract Files...".

Extract the files to your desktop (using the navigation menu thing).
Once complete, you will see the 3 files you mentioned. Delete the GH3D.txt and gamershell.url one, as they aren't required. Double click on FM2008_v8.0.1 and let it self-extract.

Once its self-extracted, a new menu will pop up. Click "Update". Once it has updated all 47 files, click Exit. Then run FM as normal.

Just double click on the file named FM2008_v8.0.1 and it will start,then just click update and it will do it automatically.

p.s.se sei italiano te lo spiego meglio :-)io ho scaricato il file exe,tu hai scaricato il file rar che è più o meno la stessa cosa.Clicca sul file rar col tasto destro e seleziona "estrai".Poi vai sul file che si chiama FM2008 eccedera e clicca due volte....ti dovrebbe apparire la schermata della patch con una barra cn scritto "exctracting",appena questa barra si carica tutta,potrai cliccare su update....e da lì ti fa tutto automatico.

Ok i double clicked it and it said unzipping then when that was done a message said ERROR:Could not locate football manager 2008 installation folder please browse and open fm.exe

what do i do here the only option is to browse
