It doesn't work.I tried to modify the RGB values, but i see no change.It's still using the font colors from the default skin.

change RGB values and try.

For some reason, I put this paragraph in my settings.xml file in the \settings\ folder, and it works there.

I had the same problem. Then, I removed all "fm colours.xml" files from "skins" folder, except one from "flexion" skin. Now I have the full flexion skin working.
