Before I get started, I have to say that the following screenshot is of a skin that I have been developing for my own use. It contains bits and pieces of several people's work, and as such, I cannot and will not distribute it. So don't ask.
I'm getting this black bar across the top of every screen, and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I appears to be an overlay, as my background would be a bit lighter in the middle. Can anyone (Ter, radestock, CaptianFerret, anyone) tell me what this file is, so I can make it clear and it will go away?
Or is it a .xml issue with a box being offset from it's parent?
I don't have a header.xml in the skin, so the game is using the FM08 one it extracts from the .fmf ... right?
Given that I'm sure you signed (or at least agreed to) an NDA when they let you beta the extracter, would you be able to email me that file?
I've looked at the header.xml that come with Steklo 1.1, and had already changed the graphics associated with titlebar, but a search of that file doesn't give me a reference to the string "menubar".
I'm pretty sure it's only the fmf tool I can't redistribute, not the contents of the fmf files. So if you have a look here, you can grab panels.zip and skins.zip, which are the panels used by the game for the default skin.
Well, in posting those files you're distributing part of the FM2008 CD which is technically illegal.
I have to admit - everytime I'm away for a few days and come back to find the fmf tool hasn't been publicly released I'm pretty amazed. I know people are busy over at SI with patches but it's release is more than a tad overdue.
