Instead of moaning about the lack of good skins for FM2008 I have decided to try and make my own to share with other FM Users.....

I have found a tutorial by 'Seafire' on creating a skin for FM2007 but the skins in FM2008 seem slightly different...if i create a skin using the FM2007 tutorial will it work in FM2008 and if not how can i adjust it so that it will work with FM2008?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....

come on guys....surely there's someone that can offer me some advice and help?

I just need to know how the skins differ from 2007 to 2008 if there is any difference....there must be if you cant use FM2007 skins in 2008

It's just the same principal I think. You need to replace existing graphics with ones that you've created, unless you want to create an entirely new template, which means you need to know XML. We still need the FMF tool before we can do anything yet anyways.

if we need the fmf tool then how are people creating skins for the game without it?

there are a few other skins apart from Steklo's on other sites, and they can't have used the fmf tool either....can they?

Look into Steklo or Black-in 2 folders and files` structure. I guess it will be helpful and useful.

theres a beta version of the fmf tool some users have. until the full version is released you wont be able to get your hands on it, so for now play the waiting game

Actually, the .fmf tool has entered a "public beta" stage ... a lot more people have it now.
