sorry i mean how do i get it to the ideal settings. The 1280 * something. I can only choose between full mode or not.

Bucs, the "this skin is best viewed in 1024 x 768" resolution is your screen resoultion. You can't change that in FM it's your actual monitors res. You can change that in control panel > appearance and themes > change the screen resolution

Hey guys, can someone tell me where to put the player icon file I downloaded from the link above.

I'm guessing it goes in the skin, but where exactly ?

tbh. I haven`t such problems cos still see defo skin and others. Strange.... Where did you extract Black-in and where is your User Data folder? </BLOCKQUOTE>

I put it in

CDocuments and Settings\user\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\skins

I've already installed the steklo skin before now without this problem, seeing as i didnt put it in the program files folder its weird how the original skin has disappeared

\mydocs\fm08\skins\skinname\graphics\pitch\icons
