Default long shots keep killing me. how to defend against them...
just got 08 up and running with the beta patch, starting as feyenoord, have a reasonable squad but nothing spectacular, but i keep getting beat in every game by incredibly accurate long shots. i mean, fc groningen putting 2 away against me at home from 40 yards? is the same thing happening to others? any help? just started the game, so i probably need a while to get into a rhythm, but wanted to get some early thoughts on the match engine and the opposition's long shots in particular...

Get your players to close down the opposition so they cant shoot from range.

too many long shot gaols = need of a new keeper with excellent positioning and reflexes. Anticipation and handling wouldn't go amiis either
