So I've taken Southampton into the Premier League. Playing a slightly simple 4-4-2, but now that I've gotten into the Premier League it seems my defenders are afraid of playing a decent/solid ball. They just hoof the ball upfield, giving it to the opposition. Als my midfielders seem to dwell on the ball a lot before deciding to play it. At which time the AI has already taken the ball of them.
What am I doing wrong? How can I get som rest into my team? Defensively it's going well but because of the fact that my defenders and midfielders are just 'giving' the ball away. I suffer a lot of pressure during matches.
I could really use some helpfull tips!
