In the begining of the game, when you configure the manager options, you have the option to chose between 3 past careers. World Class - Amteur - Automatic (I have the spanish version, I don´t know how it´s written in the english version). These options influence in the tactic or in the way that the players respect the tactics?

This is nothing to with tactics. You will be given more of a chance by the board, players and fans if you are world class. You will start off as Continental reputation.

It has no tactical effect whatsoever, just means that you have a higher reputation if you are world class.

You will also get more money from the board.

If you choose Automatic as an example, then the majority of the players will have low morale to start with and the senior players will generally being saying within the Personal section of their Profile, that "They feel the manager has not got the necessary experience to take the team to the next level"

This means any tactic you create will take longer to work, as the players have yet to trust you and this is backed up by checking with the Assistant Manager and selecting the Team Report.

There you will see what he thinks of the team morale and how well they are gelling, which helps you gage if you are doing the right things.

I have found that by starting with Automatic will mean that your tactic along with the morale of the players generally start to click around November time and of course this is all dependent on you doing well.

If you choose Ex-Pro or Ex-International then you will find the morale of the players will be good to very good, which means the tactic you use will be more successful sooner, as the players will be more receptive to you do to you being an ex-player.
