Certainly getting there now I think - I've put the width to around 8 (I can't be sure exactly what, as I'm at work) - two games played with those settings, two wins - a comfortable 3-1 win over Luton in the First Leg of the Southern Final of the JPT, and a 2-1 win away at Yeovil in the league, coming from behind to get a really good result.
I get a Lés Blues anno '98 feeling about this tactic and I used too admire Zidane back then. Didn't play this tactic back in '94 I used the counter attack tactic then. But I'll give this one a go with Boston Utd. I'll keep you posted.
quick update. It took 48 seconds to produce my first goal, against Bristol Rovers. Game finished a draw 1-1. This was without the tweeks so I'm looking forward to the upcoming season
I'm playing a formation like that with my Juventus team.
It's inspired by the way Arsenal play in real life at the moment; quick, short, walking-the-ball-into-the-net, attacking kind of tactic.
It has been producing me some good results so far, but I'm still tweaking it a bit.
Here's two screenshots showing the dominance in the games I play:
After I changed MC to Mixed passing I lost 2 games 4-0 against Hull but that's not a good index for the tactic as it's 3 divisons between us. But I lost 3-1 against Boston Town wich is a nonleague team and that's not good. I'll go back to shortpassing and hope for a change
i have got to say that this is a great tactic because out of 38 games i won 36 and draw 2, i did do a little bit of tweaking but in the end i won the premier league and the fa cup, but i think that i can get more out of it.

wow! - That's more than I expected, fantastic stuff.
I've just patched the game, and played my first game post patch - the Second Leg of the Southern Final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. 3-1 up from the first leg, we cruised the second leg 3-1 as well.
These were the match stats;
Possession well up, as were player ratings - 4 players got ratings of '8', 6 of '7' and one, hatrick hero Nicky Forster (First goal after 21 seconds without Luton touching the ball!) a 9.

so what do you think of it now that you have got the patch, does it make it look more better.
Yes and No. I think it needs tweaking still, we dominate possession and finish off chances, but look a little less solid at the back at the moment - I'm quite pleased with it though, and looking forward to the weekend to really have a crack at it.
do you think that you can take brighton all the way to the premiership and stay there for a couple of seasons because i think that you have got the team to do it.
