it cannons off the bar...it hits the up right...it thunders of the crossbar...oh that was easy, even his managers got his head in his hands...disallowed, was that offside? oh now they've taken it up the other end and scored! 1 shot 1 goal. this game is a con. i tweak the training, for defenders, for example, il move a few clicks down on attacking and shooting and obviously move defending up that same amount of cliks..but why? because it make absolutely no difference. thats a lie. actually they perform alot worse than if i hadnt bothered putting the time and effort in and thats one small example.buh gimme my 25 nicker back!!!

hey the main problem is the disallowed goals.i have 1-2 a game it seems. i think its a fault with the game! anybody else noticed this? and nothing more annoying than haveing 2 goals ruled out and losing 1 nil. then moaning in the press and getting a slap fromn the FA. how many touchline bans do we see in real life eh? SI you need to employ me cos your messing it up! lol

the game simply isn't a patch on 06...the players don't react in any way 2 my tactics...4 example i always set my keeper 2 short passing n wot does he do??? yep he punts it hard as he can straight 2 1 of the opposing players...will they close down???nope! will they tackle or at least try n tackle the striker going direct 4 my goal???nope! do my players respond 2 wots goin on around the???nope!this game is a disgrace 2 the , wot was up 2,now the most enjoyable n exciting game ever made ... i'm already back 2 playing fm2007 hoping that the patch will make playin 08 as njoyable asa the previous versions...2 put it simple u've destroyd the gamr!!!

must admit, I'm not usually one to get involved in the criticism but the match engine on 2008 is appauling and in no way reflects the instructions given to players.

My GK constantly kicks long when I set him to short passing and defender collect

My full backs still insist on charging forward when I put them on the defensive and forward runs rarely(trying to protect a lead against the AI's 4-2-4 all out attack tactic)

My MC's now close down more(beta patch) but now both close down the same player leaving huge gaps for the oposition to exploit

My striker will recieve the ball with a clear run on goal, but will stop and stand still for no reason allowing the opposotion to get back into position.
