im using tugs training but attributes not goin up can anyone shed any light on this

I'm having a similar experience. At first I thought it might be to do with the training facilities or the coaches, but with top training facilities and a new coaching team it still didn't change.

Some players are changing a little, but these are mostly youth players who would develop anyway or the mental attributes go up every couple of months.

I certainly haven't seen the results that the schedule claims to give.

I think top players who have more or less established their attributes wont change at all. Youth players or developing players will.

It's not that established players don't change at all, it's just they take longer. And sometimes the attributes that do change aren't in line with the training schedules objectives.

E.G. Roque Santa Cruz - Tackling: 5>8 in 3 months. Why?

I noticed that the attributes arrows on players profile dont change but training arrows do.

Mod said the numbers change and only the arrows on players profile change if they have made an improvment.

I'm facing similar problems and it's really getting frustrating.

- I have tried several schedules for several seasons, which of most I've downloaded from this site.

- I have tried tutoring a lot too.

- I have 7 stars on everything but set pieces.


What makes it even more frustrating, is that when I sell some one of my potential stars to other clubs, their stats seem to start skyrocket in other teams. Makes me wonder what cpu teams do right that I dont?

One of my joys in FM has always been to buy lots of youngsters and develop them into good players; that itself has always been perhaps more rewarding to see them develop, rather than team's success. Since FM 2007, I simply have been unable to do this - it seems when my players gain something from training, they lose it later very likely.

If anyone has had some great and CONSISTANT success with training on FM 2008, please speak up because this is kinda ruining the game for me, which otherwise is an awesome game.

P.S. I'm also playing with MK Dons so facilities shouldn't be an issue either.

Now I'm beginning to feel that you guys may have something as well..despite seeing the arrows, after one season my attributes didn't change that much. Now I didn't like what I saw, as we know the patch was tweaked before the demo was launched.

What would help is if someone had a saved game when the season starts and when it ends, and if this carries on to the next season it'd be good, at the end of it all if your attributes still don't change then this should be posted in the bugs forum

Rashidi1 I think its a bug that everyone has. Every training schdule I tested does not work. Si need to sort this out and need to be told this.

im having the same thing ive tried tugs and timsters training now for bout 3 months and littel effect really pre patch training seemed to work better

Before the beta patch was installed training was going well. Afterwards nothing happens. There is a bug for sure. I do not know if the bug is that improvements aren`t made. Or just that the different screens doesn`t show them.
